Quant/Trader

Our client is an exciting and highly entrepreneurial business new to the Cayman Islands, currently seeking to hire an enthusiastic professional with strong academics and a background in quantitative analytics and/or high frequency trading.

Our client builds next-generation trading strategies and systems based on sound mathematical models, and the successful incumbent will be responsible for implementing such strategies to trade, leveraging the latest technologies to efficiently scale across global markets.

Requirements:

• Advanced Degree (Master’s, MBA) with a proven track record of outstanding achievement (academic and/or professional) and success desired.
• Solid coding skills in Python and C/C++.
• Significant experience in a trading-related position within an investment bank or a hedge fund.
• Portfolio management experience would be beneficial.
• Experience performing research and analytics in economics (or similar) is essential.
