Legal Research Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Legal Research Analyst to provide high-level legal support and analysis for senior Attorneys. This role is pivotal in ensuring the business remains informed and aligned with developments in policy and legislation.
The successful candidate will conduct in-depth legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and make informed recommendations. The incumbent will be required to draft and proofread legal documents, prepare court material, and maintain a comprehensive database of laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws degree or other legal qualification.
- At least 5 years working in a legal environment in the Cayman Islands.
- High level of analytical thinking with the ability to use independent judgment and make sound recommendations based on legal research.
- Detailed understanding of legal concepts, terminology, principles and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in using a range of research methods and resources.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive material and legal issues.
