AVP, Operational Risk

We are seeking an experienced and driven operational risk professional to join our client’s enterprise risk management team. The purpose of this role is to oversee the Operational Risk Program within the jurisdiction. Working collaboratively with Group Risk Management and business lines, you will play a key role in managing and executing a comprehensive risk framework, identifying and mitigating enterprise and product risks.

Key responsibilities include managing incident processes, conducting risk assessments, supporting business continuity, and enhancing compliance with data privacy and third-party risk protocols. You will also deliver regular risk reports, lead training sessions, and ensure the effective execution of the risk framework.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in business or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in risk management within financial services or a regulated environment. A professional risk management qualification is preferred. You should possess a deep understanding of internal control frameworks, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
