Our client, a Leading Healthcare & Medical Facility in the Cayman Islands is now seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join their award-winning team!
The role provides policy and strategic intelligence to the Board and is the communication channel between the Board and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide vision and leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of the company’s strategic plan in conjunction with the Board, staff and key stakeholders.
• Executes the overall vision and strategic direction of the company, ensuring alignment with the clinic’s mission to provide high-quality women’s health services, including OBGYN and medical diagnostics.
• Provide high level advice to the Board on all key areas of responsibility including high level analysis of the political and economic environment as it relates to the company.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvements in service delivery.
Operational Oversight
• Oversee management of total operations of the company, directing the integration of all functions and activities for the effective delivery of services and programs.
• Implement effective response strategies in times of emergency, such as environmental concerns. Ensure the clinic staff follow protocols for the safety of the staff and patients.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of the company overall and initiate action necessary to improve all aspects of the organization.
Patient Experience
• Prioritize patient satisfaction, ensuring that it provides a spa-like experience and high-end customer service.
• Oversee the implementation of patient care protocols and ensure a seamless patient journey from scheduling to post-care follow-up.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the highest standard of patient care is maintained.
Financial Management
• Work with the Chief Finance Officer to ensure reporting obligations and budgetary goals are met and organizational viability is sustained.
• Lead and proactively seek opportunities to increase revenues and reduce costs.
Compliance and Governance
• Oversee that the clinic adheres to relevant healthcare regulations with the Health Practice Commission.
• Responsible for the ongoing licensing procedures of a Healthcare Facility in the Cayman Islands.
• Identify relevant accreditations and certifications that can distinguish our facility in the healthcare industry, both locally and internationally. This may include certifications from prestigious organizations like the Joint Commission International (JCI), ISO healthcare standards, or other specialty accreditations related to women’s health and diagnostic services.
Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations
• Represent our company as its public face and build key strategic relationships and organizational reputation across the Cayman Islands.
• Work closely with the outsourced marketing firm to ensure accurate branding and communication strategies that reflect our reputation for luxury care.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, referring physicians, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the ongoing sustainability and promotion of Women’s Health in the Cayman Islands.
• Expand the clinic’s service offerings, exploring new diagnostic and treatment modalities that align with women’s health needs.
Human Resources and Leadership
• Provide strong and effective leadership that fosters a safe and harmonious workplace and builds a positive culture.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the clinic has a highly skilled workforce that meets the needs of patients.
• Implement succession planning and talent development strategies.
Innovation and Technology Integration
• Champion the integration of new medical technologies and diagnostic tools to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and adopt digital health solutions, such as telemedicine or electronic medical records (EMR) systems, to improve service delivery.
Summary of Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in: Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree (preferred) in: Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare, Public Health (MPH)
• Additional certifications in healthcare leadership, such as Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE), Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), or Project Management Professional (PMP), would be a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Deep understanding of clinical and operational aspects of a healthcare facility, including OBGYN services and medical diagnostics.
