Legal Secretary - Litigation

• Billing and credit control
• Liaising with fee earners and clients
• Assisting with conflict checks and file opening procedures
• General administrative and secretarial support
• Organizing the logistics and all administration associated with business trips and client meetings
• Assisting with file management as required
• Preparation of general correspondence and legal documents under the supervision of fee earners
• Responding to client enquiries via email and over the phone
• Maintaining physical and electronic files as well as client databases
• Experience with electronic document management systems such as iManage, client management systems and Microsoft office applications
• Good writing and proofreading skills and excellent attention to detail
• Prior experience in preparing complex and properly formatted documents
• Team oriented with a flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable experience with court procedures
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and be committed to providing a high level of client service
