People & Culture Administrator (Temporary Contract)

We are looking for a People & Culture Administrator on a Temporary Contract basis to join the team of our client, world famous for its products made here in The Cayman Islands.
 
This is a temporary position for 3 months, with the potential for full-time employment based on a successful performance evaluation.
 
The position supports the People & Culture department in delivering HR services, managing employee records, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Maintain accurate employee records (physical & digital)
•    Process HR documents (contracts, onboarding, benefits enrollment)
•    Assist with recruitment (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, communication with candidates)
•    Support pre-employment checks (references, background verifications)
•    Prepare offer letters and new hire paperwork
•    Conduct onboarding and ensure smooth integration for new hires
•    Address routine employee issues and escalate when necessary
•    Support employee engagement initiatives and events
•    Assist with benefits enrollment and changes
•    Ensure compliance with employment regulations
•    Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
•    Gather payroll data and coordinate with Accounting
•    Assist with HR audits and employee relations/recognition events
•    Manage Temporary Work Permits and immigration matters
•    Liaise with external partners (insurance, pension vendors)
•    Assist with P&C projects (e.g. job fair events)
•    Respond to employee queries on P&C matters
 
Qualifications and Experience:
•    3-5 years in a P&C/HR Admin role or similar
•    Associate Degree or HR Certification
•    Familiar with HRIS (e.g., BambooHR)
•    Experience with Temporary Work Permits, Grants & Amendments
•    Knowledge of Cayman Islands employment legislation
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•    Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
•    Strong verbal and written communication
•    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
