Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of all minor and major capital projects for which they are responsible for. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing full project lifecycles – from developing business cases and setting building performance standards to overseeing consultants and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

Acting as a key liaison, the Project Manager will coordinate with internal stakeholders and intermediaries, while also collaborating with Government agencies. A crucial aspect of the role involves procuring and managing specialist consultants across financial, legal, and technical disciplines, while keeping the business informed of project progress, risks, and performance.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, or an equivalent construction related discipline is required. A master’s degree is desired.
  • Professional registration with a relevant professional body in the US, Europe, or Canada, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • OSHA certification and relevant experience in safety management is advantageous.
  • 10+ years demonstrated successful experience and knowledge working with the management of buildings including construction, MEPF engineering, facility management, environmental health and safety initiatives, sustainability or renewable energy projects.
  • Significant experience supervising staff and/or contractors including assigning and monitoring the work of maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of Building Management Systems.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Experience writing 3-stage business cases and managing public procurement processes.
  • Experience writing reports and analyzing data to make decisions on work to be carried out.
