About the Role
This exciting opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience in early-stage fintech and insurtech investing, with exposure to a broad range of Property & Casualty (P&C) lines of business. As a Venture Capital Analyst, you’ll be part of a strategic investment unit supporting technology startups and their applications to the insurance industry.

As a Venture Capital Analyst, you’ll be part of a strategic investment unit supporting technology startups and their applications to the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in sourcing, screening, evaluating, and conducting due diligence on investment opportunities.
• Monitor and support portfolio companies, tracking key performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends in insurtech, venture capital, and the reinsurance market.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and industry experts.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
• Support internal teams with industry insights and investment recommendations.
• Contribute to internal investment reports and presentations.
• Take on additional ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
• 1-5 years of professional experience in financial services, technology, or other STEM industries.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel; experience with programming languages and data visualization tools is a plus.
Passion for early-stage investing and insurtech innovation.
• Self-motivated, independent thinker, and strong team player.
• Detail-oriented with a strong business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High integrity and ethical standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
